How do I install a WoW addon manually?

Download the addon .zip file, then extract the folder into your World of Warcraft\_retail_\Interface\AddOns directory. Restart WoW or type /reload in chat to activate it. You can find your WoW folder by opening the Battle.net launcher, clicking the gear icon next to Play, and selecting 'Show in Explorer' (Windows) or 'Show in Finder' (Mac).
